**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate Home Health Nurse to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of patients.
**Duties:**
The primary responsibilities of a home health nurse include monitoring vital signs and performing tests, caring for wounds or injuries, assessing healing, and administering treatments. Nurses also document changes in behavior and progress, eating habits, and overall mood, depending on the situation.
Carrying out prescribed treatment plans from physicians or nurse practitioners, home health nurses work in tandem with hospice or palliative care specialists, psychologists, counselors, chaplains, or social workers.
**Requirements:**
Since home health nurses often work at the patient’s home, they should feel comfortable working alone and feel up to the challenge for being responsible for the several aspects of the patient’s life. This role requires an associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN).
